I remember growing up without a phone. It meant I was chilling in my bed before getting up staring at the ceiling and listening to the sounds of wherever I was. There was something painful about having nothing to distract me, it made me anxious, but I’m longing for it now. So I’ve been practicing this for the past few days, not hanging out with my phone before sleeping, and waking up without checking the slew of photos from the parties I didn’t go to last night.
