Disclaimer: inspirational blurb! 😇
I’ve been trying for a long time to take more photos on film. It’s allowing me to take my time a little bit more with the subject – I’m forced too! Not only because my shots are limited and the price tag is higher, but also because the subject matter changes from moment to moment, and I want to capture a very specific moment.
I’d been trying for a long time to take more photos on film. And it wasn’t simply a decision to do it that has pushed me to practice, it’s a decision to work on a personal project (that I can’t wait to share) that made it so that I had to do it. My advice out of this: if you’re trying to better yourself or want to try something that takes you outside of your comfort zone, shape a project around it. Have fun with it, make it something you want to do, and give it a goal that means something to you.
This was taken on 120 film with a Mamiya 645. Momo is blurry and a bit out of focus, but I love this shot anyways.
