I’m learning the difference between sitting still with my thoughts and detaching from them. They both look similar except the latter is a little more restless and a little less fruitful. I’m trying to get in the habit of asking myself constantly: is what I’m doing right now truly helpful for myself or for others? If the answer is no more than yes, then it’s my responsibility to change something. Also I’ve been watching way too much Brooklyn Nine Nine.
